Our 10 & Under program is one of the finest in Rochester! For kids 9 &10 years old, we have many days and times for Entry and Intermediate level players. Our goal is to get kids rallying faster through active and engaging drills, games, and various match play situations. We use 60'x27' tennis courts, Orange Felt tennis balls, and 25-26" racquets. Our staff creates a fun atmosphere and encourages learning by using courts and equipment suitable for your child’s age and level. We constantly have Special Events and seasonal promotions happening. JUNIOR PROGRAMS - Ages 9-10
Winter 2: Monday JANUARY 2nd - Friday, FEBRUARY 24th (7/8 Weeks)
9 & 10 Year Old
Entry Level
We use 60'x27' tennis courts, Orange Felt tennis balls, and 25"-26" sized racquets for our 9 and 10 year old kids. Our curriculum is very simple and designed around kids learning to rallying faster through active and engaging drills and games. These classes are not super technical, but designed for kids to have fun, expose them to tennis, and learn basic skills. This program runs four consecutive weeks at a time to see whether your child enjoys playing. Click on the schedule and it will take you directly to the registration page.
9 & 10 Year Old
Intermediate Level
For kids that demonstrate they can consistently move to the ball and hit a minimum of two shots consistently from Forehands, Backhands, Volleys, Overheads and Serves. This is a 90 minute class instead of an hour, and eight weeks long instead of 4 weeks. Typically your child is enjoying the sport, and learning how to direct the ball accurately. Orange Ball Allstars
This is an invitational program for kids in our Intermediate level classes that display a particular interest in learning how to compete. Kids will learn scoring, tactics, and basic match preparation. One court will be designated for games, and others for match play. This is not an instructional program.

9-12 Year Old
Intermediate Level
For kids who have demonstrated significant proficiency on the 60' court with the Orange Felt Ball and can successfully rally while understanding basic point construction. Green Ball Academy is an invitational program that will teach players a variety of tactics to make them more well-rounded and capable of competing strategically within their own capabilities. This program is a package that includes one or two weekly group lessons, weekly organized match-play, and one private lesson in the two-month session.
